From zero to running CRM in about ten minutes
Self-hosted Imago runs on any server with Docker, or on Railway. A first-run wizard creates your admin, your agency and your first workspace, then Launchpad walks you through the rest.
Setup checklist
Progress is measured from real data, not boxes you tick.
# on your server
$ sh scripts/selfhost-init.sh
$ docker compose up -d
✓ web, worker, realtime, postgres, redis, https
# open https://crm.yourdomain.com/setup
Launchpad is included.
So is every other module, in one app.
- $0 to self-host, forever
- Your own keys, no markup
- Sandbox mode: try it with zero keys
What you can do
One command to start
Docker Compose brings up the app, Postgres, Redis, background jobs, realtime, HTTPS and virus scanning. Or deploy each part on Railway.
First-run wizard
Open your domain, create the admin account, name your agency and your first workspace. Done.
Works before you add a single key
Every channel has a built-in sandbox, so you can click through the whole product on day one.
Ten steps, scored from real data
Phone, email domain, calendar, social, payments, texting registration, import, first funnel, first workflow and team invite tick themselves off.
Test every key first
Each provider has a Test connection button that calls the real service before you rely on it.
Health checks built in
Web, worker and realtime each report database and Redis health, so Docker or Railway can restart what fails.
Questions about Launchpad
How hard is it to self-host Imago CRM?
If you can follow a recipe, you can do it. One command with Docker Compose starts everything: the app, the database, background jobs and HTTPS. On Railway you deploy from a template. Then you open your domain and a setup wizard creates your admin account, your agency and your first workspace. Launchpad walks you through the rest.
Can I use my own Twilio, OpenAI or Anthropic keys?
Yes. Self-hosted Imago is built around bring-your-own-keys. Connect Twilio or Telnyx for calls and SMS, Amazon SES, SendGrid, Postmark, Mailgun, Resend or plain SMTP for email, Anthropic, OpenAI, OpenRouter (one key for Claude, GPT, Gemini and the newest experimental models) or a local Ollama model for AI, and Stripe or PayPal for payments. Keys are encrypted in the database, and every provider has a "Test connection" button. No keys yet? Every channel has a sandbox, so you can try everything first.
